Ameraucanas are from ABC members, blue roo over blue and black hens. Parents selected and bred to APA Standard. Parents have been shown and placed well.
Heavy hatching on the blue and splash, colors from med laced, to very light, to dark as blues can run. Hens lay great blue eggs, offspring of pen has produced blue layers, that I have grown out, though it is always possible for recessive genes to throw a green one. As it is possible for traits that do not meet the standard to pop up.
Ameraucanas are a newer breed and so you would want to keep selecting the best ones to breed. Egg color can fade towards end of cycle, diet, or temperature. They are laying like gangbusters and the bator is full.
