My Dad has always raised white Cornish. He of late was having fertillity issues with his lone cock as he got older, as Cornish are prone to do. The last year he produced chicks, only produced pullets. My blue laced red Brahma project produced some clean legged chicks that showed a little of their cornish ancestory. I brought a trio of the stockiest clean legged, blue laced red, pea combed birds up to his place mostly for them to have eating eggs through the winter. As the cockerel matured and filled out he grew into a pretty nice, wide, stocky bird, and as Dad was unable to find a good white cornish male, well, our curiousity got the best of us. Here are some of what resulted.
