Like an emu egg color?
Is anyone breeding for a dark blue/green egg?

That would be an awsum egg color........ but how in the world would you get anything that dark short of crossing a chicken with an emu.................LOL one very large chicken, and eggs scramble 1 and the whole family can eat............ hehehe

Slow, slow project but I'm just fiddling and hoping to get a bird carrying homozygous blue and mostly if not purely homozygous dark brown, making for a very very dark green. As for a blue like that, I'm not fully sure one can do that. Pips&peeps got a very rare super dark blue-teal color like that from a Lavender pullet before though.

I think, like was said above, if one can get a Hetero Blue egg gene, and a homo dark egg gene, you might get that loden color.
