OMG This is what I've been searching for!!! My duck laid her first and second eggs and since it's a co-ed coop I want to know if the eggs are fertile. If I put them in room temp will it develop enough to tell if they are fertile? If not fertile is it still okay to eat?

u have to put them in the incubator to see any development. but u could open one and look for the bulls eye in the yolk that shows if its fertile. And there ok to eat as long as u dnt incubate them or leave them sitting out for over a week or so. ive ate eggs that sat out a room them for 3 days and they were ok. i didnt know u could eat duck eggs. are they good??

Ducks eggs taste really good. For baking they are whiter and fluffier after beating. Which makes smoother cakes.
