A Few Questions About A Hen Hatching Baby Chicks!!!

Okay i am planning on letting my hen go broody and i have a few questions?

1 when i take the eggs out and put fake eggs in until she goes broody, do i keep the eggs in an incubator or what?
2 will a hen or the rooster eat the chicks feed or no?
3 will it hurt a hen/rooster to eat chicks feed?
4 should i cover up the nesting box with a blanket or sheet at night to keep it dark for her?

Answer: Are you buying the fertile eggs? if so than don't buy them until after the hen is already broody.

Answer: Yes, they will

Answer: nope
Question:should i cover up the nesting box with a blanket or sheet at night to keep it dark for her?
Answer: you can if you want to but you don't have to
