Love these little wild chickies already, so funny, and sooo healthy! No pasty butts, shipped yesterday at 3, got them this am at 11. One was not doing well at all upon arrival, tried to save her, but she passed:(

Anyway, have 9 so far healthy girls, very friendly and funny to watch! They are already hopping on top of the heater!! Got 2 buff orps, 2 speckled sussex, 2 austrolorps, 2 silver laced wyandottes and 1 columbian wyandotte. Not sure yet what the brown striped babies are,,any ideas?

 
I love those little fluff balls. That smoke gray one is beautiful. Same color as my Blue Heeler pup. MPC has been good to me as well. everything I have gotten from them has been alive, fat, and healthy. They all grew up with zero losses. Congrats on your new babies and keep us posted as they grow, with pictures of course.

The little brown ones look like my Easter eggers did as chicks and also my welsummers. The only thing is they don't have slate blue legs like my EEs but I don't remember if those came later or if they were born with them.
Are they extra chicks that the company sent?
 
My speckled sussex's all are brown striped... they sure are cute! I love that little silver looking one in the first pic
 
thanks, the smoke gray one is a columbian wyandotte, her sister passed away:( So the browns are probably the speckled sussex then. I know the coloring change alot, wasn't sure what those were,,,all fiesty little girls!
 
I got 12 chicks today. Sadly one had died in transit and one is really on the edge. I ordered 8 FBCM and 4 Ameraucanas. One of the BCM was dead and one of the Ameraucanas is in bad shape.

Hoping they all survive but it is not looking good for the little Ameraucana. I was hoping for 2 and 2 in the end, but who knows how it will work out. One person was going to take 4 BCM chicks but changed their mind, so now I need to find a home for one Ameraucana and 3 BCM chicks. I figure in Los Angeles, it won't be too hard. The other 10 seem really lively and are eating, drinking and pooping!

They are so cute though.
