How old are the new ducks now? My ducks and drake would kill any ducklings I put with them, even when they were full grown I had trouble integrating the new ducks because my older ducks would attack them. During the day I would put the new ducks into my not yet planted fenced in garden, so they could spend time outside, and when they got old enough, I would take one older duck at a time and put them in the garden with the new ducks. That way it wasn't like the new ducks were invading the older ducks' territory by me putting them in their enclosure and since there was only 1 older duck in the garden, she/he could only attack 1 at a time and that made it easier for the new ducks to get away. It worked, and now the new ducks are and the old ducks are together 24/7 with no problems.

the new ducks are about 4-5 months old...they are about the same size as the others..only the drake is attacking them, the females don't really bother them at all.

not quite sure, there is a fine line between the two really...he already killed one by breaking her neck awhile ago.....from what i have seen,he trys to mate with them and then he just stays there ruffing them up after wards

wow sounds like a mean one pekin ducks are kind of teritorial if u could put them in a seperate cage that would be good but if u free range he'll chase them all around the whole property there relentless

Sorry but a drake killing a duck is unacceptable behavior. If he's this aggressive he's not most likely going to change in time. You might want consider rehoming him.

i have 2 ducks and i have had them for a year. ive been worried about the same thing. My two boys (Rouens) have been good with eachother since little but now i have problems with them biting me. and chasing my feet. when it happens i either have to pick them up or run because it REALLY hurts. i tell them off and they stop but when im out with them they will attack anything. theyve killed a mallard who tried to get too close and a few pidgeons. they chase cats and dogs and people and its quite funny some times and thankfully lately theyve begun to listen. like if they start chasing me or some else i just call there names and they instantly abandon their assult and if they dont listen i tie them up with a lead for like 5 minitues and just look at them and say no then when i let him go again hell be fine and not chase or hurt anyone. this is about them with people. when it comes to other birds they simply dislike them. i think because its always just been them and they dont like the others. i hope to get them females one day but ill have to keep a very close eye. I think with your ducks the best would be to seperate them by a fence and see. then introduce the older ones to the newer ones like someone said because its like the terrortrial fighting might be avoided.

I hope your ducks get along soon. if mine fight (very rare) i just shout at them and tell them off and they just drop thier heads and sit down looking at me really sadly :D
