What did you do in the garden today?

My middle son got married yesterday.
Congratulations.

That is one of the most wonderful wedding photos I've seen in a long time.

They're smart. Save the money and put it toward a house or paying off student loans, or whatever. Or just not accruing debt.

Way too much money spent wasted on weddings, IMO.

I have pge also but they are charging me far to much. I would love to have the money for batteries to get off grid and tell them where to go.
Maybe check what time of use plan you're on. I hate time of use....

As for the rate that the utility purchases power back at; I think it should be the same as what they pay power producers. Open market. Makes sense to me.

Pulled more weeds. Looked for tomato worms and found none 2 days in a row. Got them all for now. Struggled with a leaky tire on the old truck. Really wanted to take it off and put it in the stock tank. Would not come off no matter what I did. Poured water over it could not find the leak. Got soapy water and looked and finally saw tiny bubbles. Plugged it. Frustrating.

I only got two quarts out of the tomatoes I picked today. Almost three, so I have a start on the next batch.

My feet/legs are tired. The kitchen floor is slate (faux slate) and it's tiring to stand on. My mom used to tell me I was to do the dishes (or other kitchen task) because I had young legs. I didn't get it then. I get it now, mom.

I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to find my pruners that I got for $0.60
I finally found them

I'm on the plan that's peak from 4-9. They started charging more because of the rooftop solar. We got ours in 2020 so they are just doing everything they can to get as much money as possible from people with rooftop solar before 2024.
