The chicken coop
My blue andalusian is acting unlike herself; she only took one peck of scratch, which is a favorite of my girls, and is moving slowly. Her comb and wattles are a pale pink, salmon color which is not usual. Her comb which has always been big and curved to one side is now either grown a little bigger or is drooping a little more on that one side. Her poop is runny with a green and white color it was also a little bubbly. What is wrong with her?

Oh, I am so sad for you... I just had 2 hens do this, and both ended up passing. I thought it was from the heat. Try confining her in a cool place, with feed and water and try antibiotics. You may need to get a poop sample done to see about worms.

Ditto, my hen died with those exact symptoms yesterday night. For my hen it took approximately 1 month to kill her so I'd say you have a much better shot at saving her than I was, good luck!

Check her for lice/mites. Most likely needs to be wormed.

Sorry to say we had the same thing happen with one of our Plymouth rocks. She died about 1 month after we 1st noticed her symptoms and could not figure out what caused it. What is worst for us was we live in farm country yet there is only one vet that does farm animals one day a week and there is a waiting list! You may want to check for worms, I recently bought a micro scope to check for both worms and worm eggs among other issues. Never knew I would become a vet.

Did your guys chickens look depressed when they were ill? and should we separate her from the other girls? Would DE do the trick? There is a water bowl outside for the girls and I mixed some DE in there for them and SIlverback, the ill andalusian, drank a good amount.

Oh I almost forgot... She also laid a egg today, and we know that there have been mice and snakes living in the coop--we have been trying to get rid of.

DE wont do anything for a sick bird.
