When i finished reading the "House of the Seven Gables" i just had to find some Pyncheon eggs to hatch and here is the result, 9 cute little chicks just waiting to find a new garden to run around in. I am amazed at how calm and non-skiddish these little ones are. They readily jump right into my hands. A true bantam with no larger counterparts they will average between 20 to 24 ounces. Here is a very informative site about this very rare breed of chicken. These chicks are from hinkjc pyncheons lines.
