Barter amongst neighbors is great! We've gotten and given some great stuff over the years.
That sounds like a good call!I had plans to go to the Lake Michigan shoreline with friends to go rock hunting. But there is the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon, so we rescheduled. Thunderstorms coming in off Lake Michigan can be big and severe. They can also fall apart as they cross the water and cheat us out of much needed rain.
I hope you get to go rock hunting again soon
Down here at the bottom of northern california, we are getting lower temps. Most of the storm is much further north.
I got the garbage toters out for pickup in the morning and am about to go fry a hamburger for dinner!

Yes, but I’ve never been there. I have friends who went for the touristy stuff.
Long ago, in a galaxy/“previous life” far away, I knew some harness racing trainers and drivers from there.
