No cock-a-doodle-dos and brown feathers popping out everywhere!!
When s/he was a baby, people said it was a boy for sure. A few weeks ago, people were saying it was for sure a girl.
How about now? What do you think?

I also guess pullet since the brown is so evenly spread, and the comb is so small/pink

can you get a pic of the saddle area i think its a cockerel based on the hackles but the comb and saddle( from what i can see say pullet)...if this one is indeed a pullet she is very very pretty

The hackle like feathers are actually not pointy. The black dots on them make the feather look pointy.

We love this chicken! She's really sweet.

Pullet. I have a similar colored mixed breed hen with ee in her background. When that reddish brown started coming out, I mentally wrote her off as a cockerel. I've really looked at her again recently and the coloring is similar to yours, the even color spread over the body and breast. Mine is not as dark as yours, but I'll bet we both get eggs.

So glad to hear that! Hopefully we get some nice eggs soon!!!
