What kind of Marans are these.

We ordered some Wheaten Marans from Sandhill Preservation (won't do that again, but that's a different story, lol). Out of the ones that I think are roosters, we got one with a red head and the others have a wheat colored head. I tried searching for pictures online, and I think the roosters should have the red on the head. So what kind of marans did I get from them. Are they Wheatens? And these are roosters, right?

i can show you what a rooster looks like and will try and find a cockerel but those do not look like wheaten marans though but mixes. these pics are of wheaten marans

Thanks for the reply! I didn't think they looked right to be wheaten, especially since they have 2 different neck colors. I thought maybe they sent me some other kind of Maran? Here's a picture of one of the pullets (at least I think it's a pullet) . She looks closer, but I don't think she's still quite right. They are all 3 months old, so maybe the feathers will change? I'll post on the maran thread and post back what they say.

 
oooops. Thanks. Well if they are mixes don't ever order anything from Sandhill Preservation! I ordered Marans...mixed, Light Sussex..... mixed(one was pure white with 5 toes

), I'm still trying to figure out what the other ones they sent me are, as they delayed my order, and sent me extras of ones I ordered, then sent a second shipment to get me my Light Sussex (that are not light Sussex!) and included a whole bunch of other ones that I didn't order to fill the box. I would like to sell all these extras I got, but I'm not sure if they are pure or not. I don't want to tell people they are pure when they are mixed. I just don't know my chicken breeds well enough yet. I called them to find out about my LS and sent them pictures of the birds so they could see, and the husband never did call me back, uugghh, so I won't bother calling them about the Marans! So anyways I would NOT order from them!!!
 
post pics of them all. i know it might be a lot of pics but its worth it to try and figure out what breeds they are though
