Delaware cockerel?

Thank you. He is such a sweetie, it breaks my heart to get rid of him. I called the feed store and they don't have any room. If anyone in North county San Diego is willing to adopt him please let me know.
 
poulettes...Are you sure it is supposed to be a Delaware?

chickenextreme...Coloring is right but aren't there other breeds with that pattern that maybe have slate legs???

Lakenvelder? color wrong for that???

prob a mix\\What about a Columbian Rock? They sometimes have blackish yellow legs.

I am really not familiar with delaware, so when i got it from craigslist, they sold it as a delaware. It's probably a mix then or a poor hatchery stock.... but it still so sweet lol! What makes me thinks it's a rooster is the crest and wattles (compare to my other hens, it's crest is much more developed), however, when i look at pictures i see delaware hens have a very pronounce crest. As for the age, i dont really know either. I bought it on August 6th, so my guess is 10 to 12 weeks.
 
How dark are its legs? I just noticed that they are in the shade in the picture. Are they really slate colored or are they yellow or pink or white???
