I've been successful in breaking my broody chicken but I have a few ducks I need to break and I'm not sure how. Ideas? I've no male ducks (we ate them) so they are sitting on eggs that will never deliver.

Remove the eggs, have you? i find that kills it not at first mind you they will be back lol i have mainly Muscovy, they breed like rabbits... but usually after a few days of egg removal they give up.

X2, you have to be diligent in removing the eggs, I have 3 broody ducks right now sitting on nothing, they'll get over it, it just has to run it's course. I have one going on 3 weeks the other 2 on 2 weeks.

I just hate how they stop laying when they go broody. I'll remove all the eggs (with leather gloves on cuz boy are they mean when broody).
