Just got home (1015pm) and first thing I do is check my chickens who are spending their second night in their coop outside. I look inside and see my 3 RIR but my 3 white leghorns ARE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!!! I kind of start to panic a bit. I look through the coop and run top to bottom 50 times. Thinking maybe these girls didn't want to go inside for the night. Still can't find them so now I really start to panic. I look inside and out for any trace of predators entering. There's absolutely nothing. I go back inside the coop and stop for a minute to collect myself and think. Out of the silence of night I hear little faint chirping so I walk over and look and this is what I find....
They scared the hell out of me. I'd thought I'd lost half my flock after just 2 days of being out. Thank god it turned out to be a little funny.
I go in my room (where I have a doggy door) I lay down heart broken I sit on my bed, I look up on on my shelf over 8 feet up (I have 10 feet roof) she is sound asleep on my shelf to this day I still don't know how the hell she got up there.
