For anyone who hasn't heard the egg song and wants to know what it sounds like or for anyone, like myself, who just enjoys hearing it.

This is what ours so right before and after they lay, than our rooster lets us know by crowing. Yours sounds better lol kinda has a tune to it!
 
Love it! I have a recording on my cell phone of my three hens egg-songing together. It is loud and it is great!

I was in a work meeting a few weeks ago and had my cell phone with me. One of the guy's came up with a goofy idea and I said "Well, here's my opinion on that." and let the egg-song fly! It brought down the house!

Good to know! I am on egg watch as my father-in-law came over to visit and thought one of my gals should start laying any day now. I go out every day but nothing yet. I am afraid to let them out to free range in fear that they will lay prior to figuring out that they should lay in the next box. First time chicken mom if you can't tell.

Great video! My girls have started their egg song, but no eggs yet! I've always said my chickens were musical chickens because they love tapping their beaks on different things. Maybe they are just practicing for perfection :)
