I just noticed that one of the newly hatched chicks has a huge yolk belly, but the other chick has a much smaller belly. Have any of you seen this before? If so, is there anything I should keep an eye out for? I've seen plenty of the big ones, but I don't recall seeing any so small.

It will be fine, it may take a while longer to right itself till it goes down cause that weight makes it difficult to stand up and stay that way, they tend to fall backwards.
This can happen because it did not loose it's water weight at 2 weeks of development as that is the time when they should but sometimes the shell is so thick it does not eliminate the moisture as it should and you end up with a big bottom baby.

I got quite a few big bottom babies myself this year.

Thanks... Could that also be why the two with larger bellies had the swollen looking head and neck, but the one with the small belly didn't?

All three are fluffed, standing, eating and drinking, that makes me smile. :D

Yea it gets very cramped in that egg when they do not loose that moisture so their pipping muscle is more compacted till they get stretched out.
