I love this little chicken, but she/he isn't very fond of me, or the other chickens (I've been told that's kind of breed specific) BUT it has a humpback? Doesn't really seem bothered by it... Is it or will it be ok? It's about 22 weeks.

That picture also looks like it could be subcutaneous emphysema if it is an air-filled space under the skin. If it is firm or hard like tissue and muscle it is not that.

It's a spine deformity. Called roachback I believe. It is usually genetic. Never done any harm that I've seen. Just makes 'em look funny.

It is hard and if I ever get close enough to touch him/her it doesn't seem to be painful
