New to backyard chickens + questions about breeds / age

Hello! I'm a newcomer to the forum and raising chicks for the first time. I've been doing a lot of research trying to get my chicks adjusted and Google kept bringing me here, so I decided to join. :D

I've had these three for about a week now.





After comparing them with photos of other chicks I'd estimate that they're about three weeks old, but I can't be sure. I'd like to hear the thoughts of the more experienced. How old do they look? And what breeds are they?

They do seem to be around the 2-3 week mark. Breeds wise it's hard for me to tell at such a young age. You can post some pics of them in the What Breed Or Gender is This? section and ask the members there to have a guess. Enjoy the site!
