Suski approached Ripple. He was sitting on the bank of the river drawing in the mud with one of the nails on his paw. She sat down next to him. "Destoe wants to turn you into something your not. He wants to make people fear you."

Ripple turned to look at her with a confused expression.

Suski sighed. "I don't agree with that, at all. I don't want people to fear you, I want them to look up to you. See you as a great wolf. Powerful, yes, but not so powerful that everyone feels that you should be feared." She growled low. "Destoe seems to think that that is exactly what should become of you. Had I known that, I wouldn't have let him train you."

Destoe walked up behind her and said " I've said it once and I will say it again, you knew exactly what I was when you agreed to it."

Suski turned around slowly and snarled. "You just love getting involved in things that don't concern you, don't you?"

Ripple pushed past her. "You want people to fear me?" He asked Destoe. His expression was blank, but his voice sounded hurt. "Why?"

Destoe was now very confused. He said " You told me yourself that you thought the other packs were wretched wolves and a waist of space that need to be destroyed! What did you think you where going to defeat them with? Respect!?"

"Defeating them is entirely different then having them all fear me." Ripple said as he backed away slowly. "I thought the alpha was the one who was supposed to be feared?"

Suski stepped forward. "Now you are just trying to put words into his mouth." She snapped.
