Claws getting long - need to trim?

You could try putting concrete block in their coop or run and when they climb on them they will also be filing their nails.

I also use dog nail clippers to clip their nails when they get too long.

I use a cat clippers and cover their head with a tea towel or thin towel and the fall right to sleep. Have someone hold them with the towel on their head while you clip. MUCH easier! Good luck! Make sure you look for their vein that's in the claw...if you cut that it will bleed and then just pack some flour in it to stop it if that happens.
 
My one girl...Curly Toed Rosey has 2 claws that curl and are long should I do something about this?

I just noticed last night that my girls' claws were getting a bit long - about the length of a grain of rice. It's making their toes *edit: twist slightly when they stand on concrete. Probably not comfy!

I have a Barred Rock Hen, 2 crooked toes, curl up the back , and yes I use large toenail clippers to trim her nails every 6-8 weeks or so.
