New here from the Triangle Area, North Carolina. I've had chickens for two years and currently have a flock of 15. I also have horses, a donkey and a dog and a cat...oh, yeah, and two wonderful boys ages 5 and 7. I'll try to upload pics to share later!

Delivery day. I love eggs...they are more beautiful to me than a ruby in pure gold!

A good portion of my flock. Identifiable breeds include Barred Rocks, Red Sex Links, Brahmas, Wyandottes...the rest explained below.

This is Mother Clucker, a heinz 57 last year as a first time mother to 10 chicks. Unfortunately I lost a few over the last year to a still undiscovered predator. She is from a Buff Orpington Roo and I *think* a Blue Jersey Giant.


Okay, please don't tell Mother Clucker I posted this picture but she had a rough molt this year :p
