I have Welsummer chicks too, but it's still over 2 hours away. I hope you can find someone closer.
I have a few barnevelders that I hatched out about 9 weeks ago or so, and a few are pullets. I live near Williamsport PA.

Thank you for the input, but I ended up biting the bullet and placing an online order with Meyer Hatchery for a few pullets. Very pricey (especially shipping!), but that way I could control for sex and age.
