Maine!
Time to show off your aviaries! They can be bought or built but preferably on the ground, as the thread goes on we can stop and share our experiences with quail!, this thread was created also because on the other threads like this had a lot of pictures missing :/ ! So now you can show them again! We all raise quails differently so please don't fight and have fun

I have some quail in the incubator now, so the aviary is a work in progress. Right now I have a cattle panel run that I plan on adding a shelter to. Will post pictures when I can.

Excited to see what others are doing!

I don't have any pictures of mine and I won't be near it for a few days so I'll paint with the power-of-prose. On a sandy top of a slope with natural grasses and 12' tall pines, I built a 28'x28x6' aviary using treated posts and 2x4s. The entirety of the sides and aviary roof are all 1" chicken wire.

Inside are about 10 pine trees with the branches left on for roosting and cover. The floor is pine needles, sandy loam and brushpiles made from cut branches.

So where are all the pics at for these quail pens?
I need some ideas for this as I want to get some quail to raise.
I've never had any so would like to see what you have to get some ideas to build my own little pen.

I don't actually lol, but I will! Right now I have my six little babies in a tote tub in my brooder room. I need to pick out a spot to move my cattle panel/hoop pen for them (kind of buried in the tall grass right now, haven't had to use it yet this year) and make some kind of little barn inside or attached to it. I'll try and get some pics tonight of what I've got to work with at the moment and I can just add pics of the finished set up later
