Quail Keepers Unite! Let’s Talk Tiny But Mighty Birds

Wow! Very well done!
Thank you! As soon as I do my fall harvest, it will be time to pull up the dead plants and move the quail to a new bed. Then I can water and hoe up the beds they've been on so they're ready to plant in the spring.

Someday I will get the two solar panels and batteries set up so I have power in the greenhouse. This will allow me to add some heat and grow something year 'round.

Here is a video of my quail setup.
I am inspired by this, as I have garden beds too that we could potentially put a greenhouse over, and rotate.

We’ve got 3 acres in the woods of WNC, and we live in an HOA, so I got to be careful with putting up too many various structures… right now we have a mammoth chicken run that we built out of a Sam’s Club play yard…. Then we closed in underneath the porch of our log home for another chicken run, and THEN we’re now building a small shed on the other side underneath the porch for our bantams lol 😂 I intentionally sold my incubators so I would not be tempted next spring to hatch anymore at the moment until I get my situation under control. We were diagnosed with Mareks and ALV, so my flock is closed, the viruses have stabilized but my dreams of selling rainbow chicks and eggs in my area are gone. 😭 AND my rooster ratio isn’t fun either..with quail AND chickens ugh
