I just heard some sad news from LittleB... her bff died on her birthday. I had a very similar experience with a rhode island red of my own.Here is my story:
I had a Rhode Island Red. she died at that age, too. she was my first chicken!!! I named her lucky because i rescued her from a winery and she had like no feathers and was attacked by a cat. I thought she wouldnt make it. And i called her lucky. We had so many fun times together!!! What is sad is i dont know how she died. it was cold out and she was acting funny. She died on12/12/12. A date i will forever remember.
So here is a place of rememberence for LittleB and Lupita. LittleB can maybe post pics and other things.
