Thanks to everyone here as I read hundreds of posts here before planning and building! I bought the coop 2nd hand and we built the run from scratch. It is finally chicken ready, just some finish work to be done. So thrilled with how it came out!















 
Thanks! I hope so! I have two non-chicken-friendly dogs, so I wanted to make sure they had enough room as they will have limited free ranging time

Good plan then. My dog is pretty laid back about the chickens, but his sister who visits almost daily is CRAZIED around them. So I have to manage their free ranging carefully when she's here.
 
It can be a little dance sometimes but it's worth it! My two smaller dogs are fine with the chickens and respect them, but my dobie mix and boston terrier are VERY interested and, well, I wouldn't want to find out what they'd do!! They've taken out bunnies and a groundhog and that's just in my fenced back yard lol
