best pooper scooper I've found yet for PDZ on poop board

I also use an office organizer for sifting poops from PDZ .....
......but it has 4 sides, I line it with window screen for the brooder.

Standard garden hoe has handle cut down to about 16" to help push the stuff into the basket and scrape the board/roosts

I wear a thick pair of latex/rubber gloves that come to my elbows that I bought at Ace Hardware. I hold the organizer with one hand and use the other hand to scoop in the poop. All goes into a bucket that I take in with me and then into our compost bins. I also have a putty knife that I keep in the coop to clean the roosts of any poo before I start the poop board clean up. It takes me about 15 minutes to clean both poop boards. I clean them every morning right after their pop door opens and they go out. I turn their fan on high and leave the door open while cleaning. I also wear a mask so I don't breath in PDZ, etc.

Here's an interesting fact about my chickens. I have brown and white fake eggs in their nest boxes. All my brown egg laying chickens lay eggs where the fake brown eggs are and all my EE's lay their blue and green eggs where the fake white eggs are. It's almost 100%.

Any other ideas for scooping poop boards with PDZ granules? I love the kitty litter scoop, but the holes are a bit too big to get the smaller pieces. The above ideas sound pretty good, but a but awkward....I think I'm just looking for a scoop with maybe smaller holes that would work for "baby poop" .....

You could try using some screen material and attach it to your kitty litter scoop with zip ties. Someday I'll have poo boards, and this is what I plan on doing :)

Take about 80% of the granules out and it will be much easier to sift.
There's really no need to have that much sand/PDZ on the poop boards....chickens are not cats, they don't need to dig, poop and cover.
I only use about a half inch deep and totally sift it all every few days.

You might need to raise or remove your roosts to sift.
Mine are 8" above the board and I can use the hoe to get under there to pull material forward to push it into sifting basket(see my post above).

I know this post is old, but I use a reptile sand scoop. Wire metal mesh, on a metal frame with a handle. Works good with sand and PDZ.
