Hello everyone!
I have this beautiful 9 week old baby (who I think is a pullet 🤔) but I have no idea what breed she could be. Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks!
I’m a newbie in the chicken world, but we bought this baby from one of our local feed bins this is Nyx and the guy who sold her to us was unsure of the breed but I am thinking either a Ameraucana or EE? Hoping someone with more experience would know lol also is it still too early to tell between...
Hello! I am a new chicken owner and have two 9-week-old Wyandottes - one silver laced and one golden laced. I am suspicious that one or both may be roos. Thoughts?
I’m guessing white is a pullet.. maybe… ugh idk.. and black is a cockerel. (just like my last two silkies).
I do have a third that I’m 80% positive is a hen. ( I’ll take a pic later to see what you all think)
What do you all think about these two though?
They are about 8-9 weeks old.
🙏🙏🙏
My nine week old black australopen was acting fine yesterday towards the evening before they were put up for the evening she was acting a little more tired but still eating and drinking fast forward to this morning she was standing still feathers fluffed up head tucked inward towards her...
Fern (almost positive a roo) Indigo Izzy Kate all of them together refusing to smile for the camera lol Hi everyone! I am a first time silkie mom and I have 4 babies that are 9 weeks old today. I have been staring at them for the last week trying to decide who may be what and I wanted to get...
I took in a chick born on Easter who's head is hung down and twisted to the side. She lifts it enough to eat and drink, but her flock started picking on her. She came to me and I have her with a 3 week old chick. From what I've read it sounds like wry neck due to muscular strain while in the...
We have a 9 week old chicken named Phoebe (unknown breed) who we are trying to diaper train. We have tried for a month now, but she is no less comfortable in it. Every time results in a storm of squawks and sounds that can only be described as screams emerge with much jumping about and flapping...
Hi everyone. This may be a dumb question that has been asked a million times, but I just moved my chicks into the coop at 9 weeks old. It is only 2 of them, on their own roost because my guinea is not very nice to them and especially does not like sharing a roost just yet so no warm cuddles from...
