TLDR: I butchered two of my layers tonight who were tormenting my younger girls. They were killed cleanly and easily and are now resting in fridge camp for a couple days before they move to freezer camp and then a stew pot. My first slaughter!

I have 19% finisher feed and can't find any grower feed in our local area, is it possible that I can just use this instead of grower feed or does finisher feed have something in it that is meant to only be given to chickens who will be butchered soon.
Butchered this corn x yesterday, as I was plucking I noticed its very strange skin! It looks like different colored patches but it was actually more like it was patches of super thin skin that I could see through. And visible thin veins. I skinned it and the meat seems fine but I'd like to know...
