Candling help
Is this baby a goner? This is at 7 days you can see the embryo but not mmuch else going on really hope that's not a blood ring but yh any advice wouldvbe appreciated. Thankyou -
Day 7 Candling - Should we be further along? Is this OK?
My rooster is still getting the hang of things, but I've let my broody Silkie sit for about seven days and I am not sure that the eggs are doing much? Cotornix from the Supermarket!
Well, I purchased 3 dozen Cotornix Quail eggs from the grocer and they're in a Little Giant bator now on day #7. Out of all of them: one embryo is noted tumblesaulting around, a perfect airsac and lovely red veining. I am happy even one was fertile! Now the worrying for the remaining portion... -
Day 7...blood rings?
This is my second attempt at incubating. Had the LG 9300 still air and lost my eggs due to high humidity (I think). I bought the 10300 with circulated air and bought a couple hygrometers, so I'm hoping for a better turn out. I put 18 eggs in bator, and candled them all today. One for sure was...- chickyrookie
