Can one duck be kept alone? (Flock death/loss)
I have 5 chickens and used to have 3 Muscovy ducks. Recently, one of my ducks died after being attacked by an animal, and another flew away, seemingly disappearing off of the face of this earth. Sad pekin drake
We had two pekins we raised from babies, one hen, Snoopy, and one drake, Gloopy (named by our 3 year old son). Snoopy met a terrible end a few nights ago from a predator, it was a hard loss, really awful attack. Gloopy has been so depressed and shaken almost since then. We've fixed the issue...
