I've just been using (slightly)educated guesses on who to pair up to get a white chicken with black skin. Ive only been successful a couple times and it seems to be a random thing that is difficult for me to reproduce. If anyone has some advice or can share experience it would be very helpful...

Nice quality dark black chicks. Good fertility and hatch rate, overall consistent color, only an occasional white toenail. Most have dark mouths and tongues. Greenfire bloodline.

Well... not sure what they are supposed to look like but despite some very serious incubator problems/failures/spikes 4 of my 9 Silver Hmong Chicks hatched.
The eggs came from 2 lines (one darker and one lighter for feather color) but both fibro melanistic.
Two hatched from each line... one...
