Hey, I have a couple day old chick that needs help, his belly is very bloated, I don’t think he’s eating or drinking, he’s very tired and his legs are splayed out he can’t walk properly since he hatched, he’s also getting pecked by other chicks. I want to try to save him :( if someone can give...
One of my ducks has gone broody on a nest containing both chicken and duck eggs. This hasn't happened before at my house. What can I expect? I know they hatch at different times. I suppose St. Patty's is the first day we can expect chicks. As an added problem, my chicken eggs are usually mostly...
I’m currently hatching a barnyard mix of chickens and ducks but I have nowhere to take the Roos and drakes. If anyone in the Baltimore MD area is interested let me know or if you know any place that would be willing to take them. Thanks!
I have a situation where I need about 10-14 eggs for the beginning of March. I have 8 hens, but I only want eggs from 2-4 specific hens (I can tell their eggs apart). There is one however that I want the majority of eggs from. Problem is she has only layed 3 eggs so far. One on the 14th, one on...

New to chickens here, my girls (and boy) are about 6 months old. Laying began a few weeks ago. This morning I collected an egg and to my surprise found this inside. It was only in the coop no more than a day as I collect multiple times a day. Any ideas?
thanks!
Mike

I have hatched chickens for 5 year using the same incubators. Each year I don’t have a problem with the humidity. This year is different since I’m hatching them at my house instead of my classroom. I ran my incubators for the 6-8 hours before I put my eggs in and there was no issue with humidity...
Ok so this is my first hatch, temp and humidity has been stable throughout. However, since I increased my humidity on lockdown both hydrometers are giving different readings?? One is saying 65 and the other 70. One of the eggs pipped this afternoon and there has been nothing since? No noise and...
