I was just on BYC's sister site 'Sufficentself.com' and it sparked my interest if anyone here forages too. I personally love foraging sustainably for things like burdock, hen of the woods, morels, plantain, purslane, horsetail, willow, and more.
I foraged some horsetail and dried it recently...

I'm a 61 year old farmer and have had chickens in my yard for 34 years ;-)

13 birds this year. I had a flock of 22 chickens and 4 guineas get slaughtered in one night when a racoon broke...
On this thread tell me what plants make either good treats, herbal medicine, or are high in beneficial vitamins. (and everything in between!) And don't forget to tell me your experience with giving these greens to your hens! 😁 ❤️
