    How do I teach chicks how to eat???

    Hey all. I had a couple of chicks hatch yesterday, and they won't eat. I've been poking it, and putting a little on my finger and showing to them. They eat a little, then back away and/or run away. How do I teach them how to eat?

    How does one bathe a silkie? It’s been raining some here and unlike my other chickens, my Silkies are disgusting. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I read that you can dilute blue dawn soap and then use puppy flea shampoo?
