Bathing Silkies

How does one bathe a silkie? It’s been raining some here and unlike my other chickens, my Silkies are disgusting. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I read that you can dilute blue dawn soap and then use puppy flea shampoo?

I wouldn't use any soap at all, just warm water. Soap will strip away their good oils that keep them warm and keep their skin healthy.

Just to confirm, all I will need is just warm water with no puppy shampoo?

Yup I agree I've had cochins and polish and now silkies, bathing in very mild bathwater temp like you might a dog whithout soap unless parasites are involved, in which case make a thick line of suds about the neck so bugs can't climb upwards, and then suds the whole bird and finish with a blow-dry.
