1502 Sportsman Incubator not keeping high humidity

So I bought the 1502 sportsman incubator a few weeks ago and I have guineas hatching right now. Keeping the humidity up has been a constant struggle, once I finally get it up it goes right back down. My Guinea keets are pretty much all stuck inside the egg due to low humidity and I’m having to...

I’m unsure what I did wrong with hatching

So, this was a couple years ago I bought eggs around the state to hatch for pets. Crazy part is almost all of the eggs like 30-40 of them except for two hatched. I’m not sure what I did wrong at the end though. Everything went great until they started hatching and then the moisture in the...

    No pip, no movement?

I placed two dozen hatching eggs In an LG incubator on June 3rd at around 6pm. Still no pip or movement. Temp is 100.0 and humidity consistently around 60-65% in lockdown. Any thoughts for me? This is my first time incubating in about twenty years!

Quail due soon need help with temp!

I have some coturnix eggs due to go into lockdown in a couple days. I have two different kinds of quail in the incubator and they have different hatch dates so I made a seperate incubator for lockdown purposes only. My homemade incubator isn't fit to hatch chicks, only incubate which is another...

    Covatutto 6 incubator.

Am trying this with 3 bantam eggs. It's designed for 6. Should I put something else in to make sure temp and humidity are right? And it's a funny little incubator with badly translated (from Italian) directions. Do any of you have one and use it successfully? Thank you.

    Day 22

Hey everyone we are at Day 22 of 6 eggs in the incubator. I candled them about 6-7 days in and saw development in all but one (because I couldn’t see through the dark, hard shell). Well here we are at day 22 and there is no pipping or anything going on. Temp and humidity are where they should be...

HELP Incubator AND Broody / DAY 22 no pip or peep from bator

Hey all! I am hatching for the first time. I started with 16 shipped eggs. Gave half to my broody hen and half in an incubator. I’ve candled both sets through the process all looked good. Didn’t see any detached air cells, all but 3-4 eggs were developing. Wednesday evening started day 21, as...

    Lockdown and humidity

My hovabator gets low water/humidity daily. It is very dry in my house since we are still in the clutches of winter and running the wood stove. I'm going into lockdown in a few days. How do I keep the humidity up without popping in to add water? Thanks!
