i have 2 silkie cockerls who just started crowing a few weeks ago....i have a buff orp hen that has been raised with them since she was 3 days old, they are in a separate coop from my 16 laying hens....but they can see eachother from the wire barracade....for the past few weeks i have been...
it seems to eat okay we snipped off the very tips thinking it would close the beak , but it didnt, will it be okay , or do any of you see a problem in the future..i will post pics
just picked up my white plymouth rock hen and this is what i found, she let me wash her, she eats drinks not sure if she lays an egg or not, i have 2 of these hens....she doesnt seem to be in any discomfort, i washed her good and put on some hydrocortizone cream.....do we need to see a vet?
THE CHICK has not been outside yet, do you think i need to trim or will it grind itself down when it gets a bit older??..now that it is warm out they will be spending more time outdoors.....but back in cage at night to sleep
baby is just 3 weeks old,,,been keeping clean, keeping the area well lubricated, area seems a bit swollen, chick is very active, eats(mixed ground oatmeal n with crumble food) and drinks and poops, this has been for over a week now, no improvement
