Okay, don't have any idea why. One of my female geese (I know she is female because she is laying eggs), runs whenever a gander comes near her but, lets 2 of the female geese stand on her back and pull her neck feathers. This has been going on for about a month.
Should I put her and a gander...
I have one male Peking and one female Peking. Thought I had two girls. Oops! I placed an order for more 3 more girl ducks for obvious reasons. I added a male Sebastopol goose to my order. Am I just shooting myself in the foot again? Will the male goose have a problem being around female ducks.
Looking to increase my small gaggle with pretty additions. I have 3 mixed geese that are half white Sebastopol / half pomeranian saddleback (probably all female). Also have 3 colored Sebastopol - one male lavender, one male buff, and one female buff. They are all 8+ months old and the males are...
We took in three Sebastopol geese and two of them have deformed wings. We have been told by Cornell’s exotic department and another vet that it is not angel wing but no one knows what it is.
They act perfectly normal minus their wings are bent downward. They can stretch them out and lift them...
Currently researching Sebastopol geese and Cotton Patch geese. We have 1/2 acre of grapevines in Northern California next to a road on a fully fenced property with a 4 ft fence. The weed infested vineyard sits right next to our lovely garden, and I’m hoping to not have to fence it off. What...

Just got a new Sebastopol pair, they aren’t super curly, not sure if there is any way to tell if they are pure Sebastopol or mixed? I have pictures. Anyone have guesses? I’m more of a pilgrim goose lady so I just don’t have experience with sebbies. They have wonderful temperaments though...

I finally found a goose! I’ve been religiously snooping on Craigslist, and one finally popped up that seemed too good to be true. I’ve been looking for a single female goose for ages now, and now I finally found one :celebrate She’s a stunning 10 month old Sebastopol, who is going to be the mate...
