I got this supposedly rooster this week he is 11.5 weeks of age a black copper maran
But I’m a little bit confused he is showing signs of a hen.

I have three 13-week-old silkies, two of whom I've assumed so far to be male. My white one has started crowing, while the black one only has several physical traits of a rooster (blue tail/wing feathers, wattles larger than the others, non-puffy head feathers, red around the eyes and beak).
But...
I'm afraid to even ask, because I fear the answer is roo and we will have to re-home my favorite chicken! I've just read too many things to tell ... plus, being new to this, is it harder when they are a "mixed" breed?
