Your approach to aquaponics if you had a 160 gal 4' round x 2' deep?
Now that I'm done brooding for a while my stock tank is free to be used so just looking for any suggestions on types of setups, mediums, plants, animals, etc.
Trying to make my life a little easier and stream line the cleaning/mess. Currently we are using a baby pool for our 8 ducks and dumping/changing all the water daily. Thinking of getting a 100 gallon stock tank with a drain. How often do I need to change soemthing that size? Once a

We ordered this for our ducks as a swimming pool, only to just now read about Zinc Poisoning and Hardware Disease. Is this safe for them to swim in and drink out of or not?
This is our first year with our 16 ladies and my husband has installed a 8' stock stank (almost ground level) for swimming. You know they love it better then the kiddy pools because they can dive under the water too. Of course, with 16 ducks there is a lot of duck muck. :)
