    ****Graphic*** What killed my bantam?

    A week ago i went out to feed my birds and found my duccle dead under the coop with all of the feathers on her head gone. The rest of the body was untouched. There was a little bit of blood on the ground around the run but no tracks of any sort. I live in new england so we do have lots of hawks...

    What killed her? (pictures included)

    Opened the coop today to see a dead pullet right by the door. She had some blood near her neck and upon further inspection I saw 3 tiny little holes in her neck. I'm assuming it's a predator that killed her. What could've done it and how do I prevent it from coming back?

    I found one of my chickens dead yesterday :hit I feel awful because I let them out and then left which I normally never do but I figured my parents were home. I guess they either didn't know I was gone or didn't know they were out. Anyway, I was gone a few hours and came back to lock them up...
