You would've just loved it last year.

They were up, at 2:00 in the morning mind you, still firing off their fireworks. I stay up late on New Years, but often don't make it past then. Sleeping was so difficult that night. Even worse, my poor mom went over to kindly tell them to keep it down, only to be laughed at and not taken seriously by the man.
