sorry to here about your duck though

that's quite sad. hope she settles in nicely... happened to my ducks, we put the pair of them free onto our city's river, and the female was taken away after a few months. (We know she wasn't killed, because occasionally she's put back there for a few days then taken away again) The male is there, all lonely, by himself.
