Have you tried to canter? It's like a gallop, just not quite as fast.

I've been wanting to canter for a while now, but I've never been able to since I don't exactly trust the horse I ride. She is pretty barn sour, and I'm pretty sure if I try and canter on her she'll try and get back to her pasture.

What's it like to canter?
