So I'm new here. I've loved horses all my life but we were living in the suburbs so I was never around horses. About a year ago I started taking lessons again! Woot! I was so excited. This horse teacher taught me a lot about safety and groundwork, she helped me get my seat strong (Lol, the memories of trotting w/o stirrups

) But she was getting hard and snappy so we switched. This next horse place is really great, I started in March, I'm now riding a black gelding named Boomer, he's a Morgan! He softens so easy, like a dream

Another horse I ride is a National Show Horse gelding (15 or 16 y.o.) I have a love-hate realationship with this horse. Very difficult to soften, bumpy canter, snotty habits...but he's getting better. I ride English but someday I'd like to learn Western.
I'm so excited to be on here with other horse people!
