I never shoe my horses and I ride them all the time. Shoe's put pressure on their joints and can cause swelling and inflammation.

I saw a presentation from 'The Barefoot Guy', people pay him tons of money to trim their horses feet and come from far away, he believes in the barefoot method.

I don't know if our neighbors actually have their horses shoed. I live in a forest-y (if that's a word

) neighborhood so that is why we couldn't ride them on the street. I guess you can't ride un-shoed horses on streets?? They just brought their horses over so we could see them.
