Our neighbors did bring over two of their horses about a month ago. They were gorgeous. I couldn't ride them though, because they weren't shoed. But it was fun feeding them some alfalfa and petting them.

I never shoe my horses and I ride them all the time. Shoe's put pressure on their joints and can cause swelling and inflammation.

I don't know if our neighbors actually have their horses shoed. I live in a forest-y (if that's a word

) neighborhood so that is why we couldn't ride them on the street. I guess you can't ride un-shoed horses on streets?? They just brought their horses over so we could see them.
