For a moment Bloodwing stared at her, a shadow of a grin crossing his features before disappearing as quickly as it came. The grey eyes, usually sparkling with a teasing boyishness, were now dull and sad. Scarlet wasn't the only one who'd had a rough last couple of days.

A sigh racked his frame. "When do we leave?"
